(I use all organic ingredients)
Adjust amounts of veggies as you like.
½ head of thinly sliced and chopped purple cabbage
¼ head of thinly sliced and chopped green cabbage
julienned carrots and red peppers and tomatoes for color
1 15 oz can (or fresh) mandarin oranges (reserve liquid)
peeled cucumbers, seeded, cut into crescents
2 tbl soy sauce (I use non-pasteurized raw)
2 tbl apple cider vinegar (I use raw, unfiltered)
2 tbl orange syrup
2 tbl sesame seed oil (I use toasted for more flavor)
Mix together vegetables and dressing. Best marinated for two hours or more. For more zing you can add a dash of Tobasco and/or Dijon mustard. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
