In Part IV: Homeboy Industries removes more tattoos than anywhere else in the country and free of charge. The idea is to remove tattoos that negatively affect a person’s life, whether it be by preventing them from being hired because of the placement of the tattoo or because a tattoo is an old gang symbol which potentially could bring harm to themselves or their family members.
